This pub with an exceptional atmosphere is located in a building from the 14th century. You will not find a “classic” menu as in other restaurants – the offer is conceived unconventionally.
The former bulwark called Iron Maiden is located in České Budějovice in Zátkovo nábřeží near Biskupská Street. The Gothic building dates back to the 14th century and was rebuilt in its present form in 1612. Allegedly, there was a torture chamber, and an iron maiden was used as a torture tool. Currently, there is a nice Old Czech pub of the same name with outside seating and unusual nooks. Guests are attracted, for example, to great coffee CORSINI, Moravian wine or ginger beer.
How to get there?
The pub is located in the city center, therefore we recommend taking a stroll.
